publishing news! “Tiny Textile Treasures” article in Quilting Arts Magazine!

I haven’t been able to say this in two and a half years….I have an article out in the April/May 2020 issue of Quilting Arts Magazine. Woot!

I’ve written so many articles for QA over the years that I’ve lost count of the total. My cancer/treatment/recovery kept me from this part of my what I love to do and I’m happy to report that I’m back at the keyboard typing away and scheming new projects. (Art Brain is completely pleased in every way.)

My article is called “Tiny Textile Treasures” and the second photo below shows you the project the article covers creating.

As always, there is a ton of outstanding articles in there. Everything from thread sketching, landscapes, business talk and a gallery of quilts from A World of Beauty. That’s just a few things, there’s more in there! Snag a copy when you can or do what I do and subscribe.

On a personal note I’m so happy that Quilting Arts came through the bankruptcy of F+W Media. To loose a publication like this would be such a blow to the fiber art world. I know I’m not the only one who found her voice over the years while reading this magazine and realizing the endless possibilities that textiles offers for creating art. The subscription rate is really reasonable and who doesn’t like getting eye candy delivered right to their door? No one is asking me to say this, just how I feel about the magazine and all the beautiful wonderful people that work there. Here is where you can subscribe if you are inclined. 🙂

Congratulations, welcome back, and I shall now be haunting Don the Mailman until my copy arrives! Welcome HOME to ART! (and of course plants, and Carter has been staunchly by your side all along)
