I’ve been exploring the world of contemporary embroidery. It reminds me of the classification of traditional quilting and art quilting. TextileArtist.org has a wonderful feature article about artists who are using embroidery in unique ways. I love the creativity and how thread is showcased as merely a material for drawing.
